Former Defense Secretary Gilberto (GIBO) Teodoro, Jr. gave advice that when there is a political exercise or that politics is discussed, we must not just think of elections. He said that politics is in big part governance, or the way the country is managed and the systems for doing this, and other important matters that will affect the future of Filipinos, especially the youth.

Gibo Teodoro, a candidate for senator, said politics means a lot more than elections. He said that it is essential that we consider politics beyond just choosing our leaders and officials since the elections are just part of a bigger scenario. He said that it is not only the leaders that we choose but the system where the country can move forward and progress and eventually improve the lives of Filipinos.

Gibo Teodoro, a former Tarlac congressman, said all else under consideration and looking forward, the system that we must put in place must enable us to forge a new Philippines for a new generation.
