Former Defense Secretary Gilbert (GIBO) Teodoro pushes for the building of logistics hubs in key areas throughout the country. These will help achieve economic sustainability and synergy and at the same time protect the environment.

Gibo Teodoro, a candidate running for Senator, said that setting up seaports, airports, and commercial centers will spur local commerce and trade. The manufacture, delivery, exchange, and purchase of goods will be sustained and ancillary businesses and services will thrive.

Gibo Teodoro, a former Tarlac congressman, said that with logistics hubs the movement of people and goods will be made possible if not easier from island to island. This is necessary since the country is an archipelago. With the hubs becoming the centers of trade and commerce, the surrounding smaller communities will eventually benefit economically.

At the same time, he said, with the logistics hubs the adjacent areas will no longer have to set up similar logistical requirements thus preserving nature and saving the environment.
